I met and started to do a mini-documentary on a homeless person who had addiction issues. I thought he was perceptive and had many life-experiences worth documenting.

But when it was all said and done, his life revolved around taking drugs. The interesting thing was he was quite functional most of the day, as long as he had his hits of heroin.

Over time, I noticed that it appeared as if he really had no passion for anything that didn't bring him some kind of a high.

Well Shatzy, this may come as news to you, but this person explained to me that heroin has been misinterpreted in the news media as being much worse than it really is.

He claimed each hit cost him 5 bucks or less and that he needed a couple a day to keep going. Later he admitted to 3-4 doses a day. He was pretty aware even when he was high, and other than the narrow pupil, it was hard to tell when he was high and when he wasn't.

It seems you might have fallen trap in regards to heroin versus marijuana just as non-users fall trap to thinking that marijuana is worse than alcohol.

i say we give cocaine and heroin to alex and make a documentary on what happens

wrong.

i have not offered any personal insights into
herion as i have marijuana. so again, your
claim is merely grasping at nothing... in the
hopes to get something.

secondly, marijuana and heroin are completely
different. ask a user.

Shatzy... or anyone on this board. Has anyone seen Requiem For A Dream? Since we are on the topic of drugs...or at least marajuana I thought I would try to sneek this post in here since I can't find any where else to put it.

If you have seen it let me know what you thought of the movie and how the charatures were playex out in it.

i've seen it.
i personally didn't like it... mainly because
it included different types of drugs and different
effects thereof (on different people). to be honest,
i felt it was directed a bit more like a science-fiction
movie or some black humor than anything.

i'm sure my thoughts on the movie are gay.
but its just my thoughts.
